After months of work the former Genardi’s in Feasterville is ready to reopen under the Giant name, company officials announced Wednesday morning.

The 53,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. on March 16, according to the release.

The new store will employ approximately 165 full and part-time associates.

The new Giant will be open 24/7 and will be run by manager, Daniel Gana, who previously ran the companies Bensalem store.

“I can’t wait to welcome the Feasterville community into our store to show off the many values and special features that make the GIANT shopping experience so unique,” said Gana.

The store was formally a Genuardi’s but closed on November 13, 2010 after it was purchased by Giant.

Company officials said, the Feasterville Giant marks the 181 store nationwide and number 17 in Bucks County.
