Doylestown native Stephen Barth was appointed Main Street Hatboro Manager for 2011.

“We have been very pleased with Steve’s consulting work assisting Main Street Hatboro and Hatboro Borough Council in achieving our common goal to revitalize this unique business district,” outgoing Main Street President Robert Johnson said in a release. “His approach has enabled us to pursue the ongoing mission to attract new businesses and provide the tools to re-energize existing businesses.”

With more than 20 years of experience working with organizations such as the Bucks County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the James A. Michener Art Museum and the Mercer Museum, Barth has earned numerous marketing awards for websites, community newsletters and development brochures.

His work has been published in more than 50 national magazines and he has consulted with the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum as well as local educational institutions and school districts.

“Hatboro has a charming, quaint downtown shopping district. Within the last six months six new businesses have opened in the borough. There is a vitality in the air as Main Street Hatboro has energized the borough’s efforts,” Barth said in the release. “Hatboro is business and developer-friendly. Businesses are attracted to Hatboro for its vibrant commercial district, extraordinary real estate opportunities and demographics. It’s an exciting time to be a part of such as positive endeavor that is supported by the entire community.”

Founded in 1995 and incorporated in 2000, Main Street Hatboro is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of the downtown area of the borough.
