Police announced the arrest of a couple, who they say robbed six houses in Hatboro and Upper Moreland, on Valentine’s Day.

Gerald Frederick Sutliff III, 29, no fixed address and Alyssa Marie Czarnecki, 19, of Philadelphia, were arrested Wednesday, after Upper Moreland detectives who were conducting surveillance witnessed the couple acting odd.

Detectives reported seeing Sutliff attempting to break into several residences.

Investigators linked Sutliff to the Valentine’s Day burglaries of the six homes, said police.

The couple was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen Property, and conspiracy.

Sutliff was arraigned before Montgomery County Judge Harry Nesbitt, who set bail at $100,000 cash.
