Stuck in traffic on York Road in Hatboro this morning?

Police in the township report that York Road was closed between Horsham and Warminster roads, due to a gas leak that was caused when crews replacing water lines struck the nearby gas line.

Crews from PECO worked to fix the leak, around 11:00 a.m. York Rd reopened but was only open one lane in each direction between School and Horsham Roads, said Hatboro police.

Work on the water pipes will continue this week and police urge drivers to watch for workers.
