U. Southampton Resident Charles Martin Seeking Another Term

Charles H. Martin is going to give it another go.

The 68-year-old Upper Southampton resident will seek a fifth term on the Bucks County Board of Commissioners, saying he would relish the chance to share a spot on the November GOP ticket with new Commissioner Robert G. Loughery.

“We have a wonderful Republican team that works together very well and we’ve had exceptional results for the taxpayers of Bucks County,” Martin told a crowd of over 150 people at the Bucks County Republican Executive Committee meeting in Doylestown on Thursday night. “It’s a track record we can all be very, very proud of.”

Thursday’s screening meeting gave county Republicans a chance to hear from the candidates seeking party endorsement for commissioner, register of wills, coroner, treasurer and clerk of courts. The party will hand out endorsements March 3.
