Northampton Man Found Guilty in Deadly Crash Charges

A Bucks County jury in Doylestown tonight found a Northampton man guilty on all charges stemming from a horrific Upper Makefield crash that claimed the life of mother and 7-year-old boy.

Michael Hartman, 47, was convicted on two counts each of vehicular homicide and involuntary manslaughter, and three counts of reckless endangerment. The married father of three shook his head and wiped his brow as the verdict was read. He will be sentenced within 60 days, and could face more than seven years behind bars.
