Bucks County Declares “Code Blue” Weather Alert for the Next Three-Nights

Bucks County declared a Code Blue weather alert for Wednesday Jan 12  to Saturday January 15  through the county e-mail alert system.

The National Weather Service reports temperatures to fall below 20 degrees Fahrenheit  through Saturday, the announcement t said.

Bucks County Emergency Management Agency joined the Health Department in issuing the Code Blue.

The on-call church is  Langhorne Terrace Ministries, at 1271 E. Maple Ave Langhorne, PA 19047, 215-757-8782 www.ltbc.org.

County Emergency Management Director John Dougherty and Health Director Dr. David Damsker have notified local public safety officials of the Code Blue declaration.

Dougherty and Damsker are advising residents to check on elderly neighbors during the period of frigid temperatures. Caution with pets during the anticipated extreme cold should also be taken they also advise.
