Warminster Police and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning at the First Niagara Bank branch on West Street Road in the Warminster Square Shopping Center.

Police say the man entered the bank with a paper shopping bag and demanded money.

Employees told police that the suspect kept his one hand down by his waist to imply he had a weapon during the robbery which occurred at about 11 a.m.

The suspect is described by police as being a white male about 5’ 10” in his 20’s or 30’s with short dark hair and wearing light blue jeans, dark blue hooded sweatshirt with “Michigan” across the chest. He also wore a dark colored ski mask.

Police investigated a set of foot prints that lead from the back of shopping center to the parking lot of the Meadowood Condo Complex where they say he fled too. A small blue vehicle was reportedly seen fleeing the Meadowood complex after the robbery.
From there police believe the suspect fled west on Street Road toward Warrington.

Authorities were seen examining a set of tire treads in the Meadowood complex this afternoon.

The bank was closed this afternoon while police spoke with employees.

The same bank was robbed in early November.

Police in Warminster along with the FBI are asking anyone with any information about the robbery to contact Warminster police at 215-443-5000 or the FBI at 215-418-4000.
