Three Fights in a Week at William Tennent (Video)

William Tennent High School (Tom Sofield)

In the few days since students have returned from winter break three fights have been reported at William Tennent High School in Warminster.

Warminster police Chief Michael Murphy says that the three fights were over “personal issues” and left no one with reportable injuries.

Two student who were involved in fights will be cited by mail the others were referred to the Youth Aid Panel of Bucks County.

When a juvenile commits a criminal offense for the first time, the arresting police officer has two options:  The juvenile offender can be formally charged and referred to court, or the juvenile can be referred to the police department’s Youth Aid Panel. (BucksYouthAid.org)

Students who witnessed one of the fights which occurred Wednesday afternoon when school was dismissing sent us a cell photo video of the fight. The video can be viewed below.

The student who sent the video which shows the fight between two girls said that the fight involved popular social networking site Facebook.com. The student said the fight was broken up moments after they stopped recording by school security personnel.

We have reached out to administrators to William Tennent but have not yet heard back we will update story if they respond.
