Hatboro Man Burned in Lehigh Valley Construction Accident

Yesterday morning a 50-year-old man who is reportedly from Hatboro was shocked when the jackhammer he was using came in contact with a high voltage power line in Richland Township which is located just past Reading.

Media in the area reports the 50-year-old man who is from Hatboro was using a jackhammer in a portion of the Richland Wal-Mart which is in the process of being expanded when he stuck a 480-volt line.

The man who was a contractor received burns to his face and head and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Due to the accident the Wal-Mart lost power and was closed for a short time.
