UPDATE: Cops Arrest Suspects Who Fired Rifle Toward Shopping Center

Police say that around 5 a.m. this morning two suspects fired a rifle toward the Sovereign Bank and ShopRite locations on Street Road.

Police Chief Michael Murphy said that the two suspects shot out windows and damaged the buildings, but no injuries were reported.

6ABC reports that investigators found 20 shell casings from the rifle at the scene.

Murphy said that the two suspects who police believe were involved in the shooting will most likely be in custody by late this afternoon.

Warminster Police and members of the Central Bucks Detectives were focusing on the parking lot of O’Neil Buick and GMC where they believe the shots came from.

Murphy said police from Warwick, Warrington and Northampton assisted Warminster police this morning.

The bank and grocery store are located in the Warminster Towne Shopping Center.  Sovereign Bank employees report that only the drive-thru is open. ShopRite remains opening and is reporting business as usual.
