Regional Update: Falls Woman Abducted by Ex; Missing (Updated)

2:44 p.m.: No new info in Falls Township in search for Diane Corado, police and K-9’s from multiple towns are searching Falls Township Park.

Dec. 21, 2010 11:56 a.m.: BREAKING: Falls Township Police have called for EMT assistance at Falls Township Park, the park is also where police are searching for clues on the whereabouts of missing Diane Corado, no word yet if the call for assistance and the search for Corado are connected. The park is nearby where Corado’s apartment is located.

10:15 p.m.: Falls Police along with the FBI are still searching for missing 57-year-old grandmother Diane Corado who has not yet been found, even after her abductor was arrested.

Authorities are saying that her ex-boyfriend and abductor was arrested in a Maple Shade, NJ motel with what is believed to be blood on his clothes but no sign of the missing 57-year-old.

Police say nobody has heard from Corado since Sunday morning.

Dec. 20, 2010 6:31 a.m.: Late last night police found the alleged abductor Kenneth Lamon Patterson, 48, in a motel in Maple Shade, NJ, which is just outside Cherry Hill, NJ. Corado was not found with Patterson and police are still searching for her.

Police say that Patterson is not co-operating with police.

Police now say a friend was kidnapped along with Corado from her apartment Sunday morning before dawn but Patterson let her go and she contacted police.

Diane Corado (Falls Township Police)

Dec. 19, 2010 8:40 p.m.: Police in Falls Township along with state and federal law enforcement are looking for 57-year-old grandmother, Diane Corado who was abducted by her ex-boyfriend Kenneth Lamon Patterson, 48, after he attacked her a pipe and lead her to believe he had a handgun at her home in the Village of Pennbrook Apartment complex.

Police say Corado’s car was found in the city of Camden this evening, Patterson and Corado were not in the car and no blood was visible.
