Employees of the Red Stallion bar and take-out beer store on County Line Road in Warminster heard a crash shortly before noon Friday, the sound was a car smashing through the front window of their take-out beer business.

Miriam Burke, 81, of Warminster was entering the parking lot when she went to pull into a parking spot she hit the gas instead of the break by mistake said Warminster police Chief Michael Murphy.

Murphy said that no one was injured and the elderly driver was checked out by the Warminster Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Bar employee Michelle who was in the Red Stallion at the time of the accident said, “Luckily everyone was okay.”

Chief Murphy said that the building sustained damage to the brick wall and glass window but suffered no structual damage.

The Red Stallion bar and take-out store remains open, Michelle just asks that take-out customers enter through the main doors to get take-out.
