Bristol Road Convenience Store Robbed

Police in Lower Southampton township are looking for a man who held-up a Feasterville-Trevose convenience store Sunday shortly after dark.

The man who robbed the Country Farms convenience store off Bristol Road approached the counter with a bottle of Gatorade and asked the clerk if he could look at the adult magazines that are kept behind the counter, at that time the suspect held a sharp blade to the clerk’s neck and demand cash.

Police say that the store employee gave they money to the robber but would not disclose how much was taken.

The robbery at the Country Farms convenience store which adjoins a check cashing business occurred around 7:15 p.m. Sunday.

The white man wanted in connection with the robbery is described as being in his 50’s, close to six feet tall and was wearing glasses at the time of the robbery.
