Snack Vendors Duke It Out, Elderly Man’s Walker Taken

“Soda Boy” vs.  “Cracker Guy”

Upper Moreland police were called to the Blair Mill Walmart Wednesday after a report of a disturbance between two vendors, one working with Coca Cola and the other with Nabisco.

The Coke delivery man Philip Haertsch, 27, of Churchville pushed a Nabisco delivery man three times telling police the victim called him “Soda Boy” one to many times.

Haertsch who did not appreciate being called “Soda Boy” pushed the Nabisco delivery man who claims he was joking and gets called “Cracker Guy” all the time.

Employees of Walmart stepped in the break up the altercation which occurred in the stock room of the Super Center.

Haertsch aka. “Soda Boy” will be cited through the mail by authorities for harassment.

Man Steals Walker

Police were called to Willow Hill Apartments on Route 611 in the Willow Grove section of Upper Moreland to respond to a man who had punched his neighbors door and then stole the elderly man’s walker.

Lorenzo Mark Sims, 21, who lives in the apartment complex punched a neighbors door damaging it, threw a lawn chair down a set of steps damaging the wall and then stole and elderly man’s walker.

Upper Moreland police say that Sims returned the walker and was cited with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
